Pink and Gold Bridal Shower!

If you are anything like me, you need some motivation to get your house in order. Don’t get me wrong, I do like to clean and keep things somewhat organized but to get everything in perfect order I would need someone to clean my house or I need some motivation. This past weekend I hosted a bridal shower with 32 guests for a close friend of mine – plenty of motivation! Since we will be renovating this summer I couldn’t do too much aside from a good spring cleaning but before I knew it I was in Wal-Mart Saturday night buying a new shower liner and replacing my Japanese maple (there will be another post on this). I even rented a rug cleaner for my carpets and my couch! It was all worth it because we had a great time, great company, amazing food and my house will be spotless for a few weeks:)

We decided a pink and gold theme would be best because the bride-to-be loves pink but isn’t choosing this as one of her colours for her wedding. Here are some pictures for inspiration:) If I could recommend one thing for a bridal shower, it is to have plenty of pink lemonade and sangria!
