The Works

I went out for dinner over the weekend with a few friends. My one friend suggested the Works as she needs to have gluten-free options. I felt like I needed to share this with you because it was really good! I think they said they have 72 options for the burgers! Crazy! Some odd toppings on the burgers are Kraft dinner and peanut butter… very strange.

If you live in the GTA here in Canada I would suggest you try it out or just try looking for a different burger restaurant (not fast food) in your area because it’s nice to splurge on a gourmet burger every now and then!

So, is this a gluten-free restaurant? I read the book “Wheat Belly” recently and have been observing the stunning health benefits people get from dropping wheat out of their diets completely, and I am totally sold. Just interested in places in the GTA that can help avoid that genetically-modified frankenfood.

It has a gluten-free option with the bun, the burger and side. Definitely a great option! My friend always struggles as there aren’t as many gluten-free options around here compared to Toronto but it’s coming around!
Good to know you enjoyed the book.. I will have to check it out sometime! I really enjoyed the kind diet. It opened my eyes to a lot of things.

It is good to know they have a gluten-free bun option. It makes it possible to order a burger. Yes, do read that book! The health changes in people who go wheat-free are stunning!
