Master Bedroom Inspiration

As Christmas is only days away, I’m finding myself thinking of the new year and what I would like to accomplish. At the top of my list is redecorating our master bedroom. It’s just not working for us, it looks fine the way it is but I know it can be MUCH better.

I’ve been looking for inspiration for the colours for the room with the help of Minted’s Art Marketplace.

Jen from Rambling Renovators introduced me to Minted via a holiday card post she did last year. Minted is an online marketplace for art and design. The designs come from independent artists and designers. They submit a project, you vote, and they sell the winning design. It’s a very cool site that you can easily get lost in. They even have a cool inspiration boards tool that allows you to create boards with your favourite designs to see how they would look together on a wall.

Here are some of my favourite prints that are inspiring my master bedroom makeover…

[…] Since our main floor renovation cost enough money… our plans for 2015 is to save, save, save and save some more. I am starting January with sticking to a budget, including saving for Christmas 2015. This means, no credit card for me. The plan for summer 2015 was to build a deck in our backyard, but we are thinking our basement should be priority to give some extra space for Nathan.  I plan on redecorating our master bedroom in January/February, there will be a lot of DIYs and garage sale finds to make this project cheap.
